The site is consisted of three abandoned parking lots at basement car park of The Twin Residences. M3dsquare in collaboration with VSK Design Pte. Ltd. take on a simple timber based built form significantly create a new space for a new gym room at the residences. The overall design of the proposed gym room is well communicated with it's surrounding context. Frontage design for instances, full high timber stripped wall with sound proof system solidly define the interior space of the gym room, it offer a visual release for resident when gyming in the the room, protected resident from unsigthly view at outer world of gym room like busy traffic movemoent and tyres screeching sounds with gema effect in such spacious car park, etc.
Two openings with fix clear glass window stands diagonally to each other at the frontage facade lead for transmission of natural sunlight into the internal space of gym room during daytime as well as it tells all resident out there when the room is being utilized during nightime ( transmission of artificial light to external space ). The simple timber based built form is perimtered with LED light box for the sake of well-being and lighten up the surrounding.

For material wise, this design breaks the rules of traditionally rigid and overwhelmingly boring gymroom design. The adoption of colour and material are done accordingly to the existing situation of the condominium itself. The combination of laminated plain brown feature and black mirror and black polished mosaics with glossy effect brings about a much more relaxed and informal way to stay in the gym room, the proposed colour scheme give resident a completely refreshed look and recreational lifestyle as well.
